Broken Glass of Shame (go back »)

June 23 2007, 7:30 PM

He said to me,

"Girl you are so broken."

I shot his eyes with mine.

I stood staring.

He then said,

"Girl are you blind, just what can you not see?"

I still stood there,

I still stared.

Tears would roll down.

Blood would spread upon my knuckles.

Shattered glass lie among the floor.

He would not leave me to be.

He was silent now.

I, still silent.

Eyes stared back and forth.

Mouths would quiver.

Teardrops,

Blooddrops,

Is all the music our ears would embrace.

He was walking away now.

I grasp his hand.

I look at the piece of broken mirror.

I said,

"Papa, I am shame of me."
